ANNOYINGLY ACCURATE.
So I’m going to do something ~amazing~ and be offended about something that is calling offense. Actually, not so much offended on a personal level, but more offended by how stupid this image is, because it ignores the fact that offense is a subjective matter. Therefore, there are no “normal people” because what you find offensive is informed by who you are. So unless you define to me who these “normal people” are (I’m guessing well-off white cis able-bodied heterosexuals, right? Normie solidarity, y’all!), then I call bullshit.
To be fair my “offense-o-meter” would be solid little green lines all the way across.
I get where you’re coming from, but it amazes me how EVERYTHING is offensive on tumblr. I can understand offense to be taken in regards to racism, anti-feminist, and abuse issues. But people get offended over FANDOM things on tumblr. It baffles me.
That’s mostly what I was taking from this. :)
